First:
PLEASE READ THE BLOG POST RIGHT BELOW THIS. It contains the info about the music rehearsal changes. Many of you left your flyers in the auditorium today.... Second: Thank you for what you showed us today. It was great to watch. We are really excited to see the end product. Third: Please remember that we love you. All of you. The following people need to prepare the music and callbacks for tomorrow. Please download the music and do the best you can to memorize it before tomorrow afternoon. If you have trouble downloading it, please send Ms. Jennings an email and we'll get it worked out. Look at ALL the lists...some of you are on there more than once! Please send me a confirmation email so I can make sure you got the info! [email protected] Click HERE for the callback info. If it's password protected, that means you didn't read the other blog post. :) It has the password in it. We are holding our parent meeting for the musical theater class tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. If you cannot attend, please click on the link below. There you can find the packet containing all the info from the meeting.

Our production is rapidly approaching! The show is coming along very nicely and I can’t wait to start fine tuning things. Your students are a joy to work with. Before things get to crazy, I just wanted to remind or make you aware of a couple of things. 1. We have gotten permission from the school to do a matinee performance/dress rehearsal for the elementary school students. This will take place on February 24th at 10:00 a.m. At this time we are limiting the audience to those we have already invited. 2. We will be performing select numbers from the show during advisory on Mar. 1. You may come and watch if you would like! Advisory begins at 1:45 p.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m. 3. Students must keep their grades up in order to perform. No student will be allowed to perform (no matter how big or small the part) if they have any Is or Fs. Please help your student stay on top of their homework as best they can. Extenuating circumstances must be approved through Ms. Jennings. 4. As we are approaching our performance dates, we are in great need of having our entire cast here. Please be aware of the deadlines as listed on the rehearsal schedules and do your best to schedule events when your student is not at rehearsal. Feb. 14th is the deadline for not missing rehearsal. Students missing after this date may forfeit their chance to be in the show. 5. We are offering tickets for sale online. You or any family or friends may purchase them in advance by going to www.myschoolfees.com. You may also purchase tickets in advance by purchasing them through the financial office. Please keep your receipt as you will not be allowed in without one! (No exceptions!) 6. If your student would like a show t-shirt, we are offering them for sale. Shirts are $5 and I have a shirt size for every person in the cast. I have also ordered a few extra shirts and anyone may purchase them. Leftover shirts will be sold at the box office during the performance nights. 7. We have a photographer coming to take production photos of our cast and crew on Feb. 19th. He will be offering CDs for purchase for those that would like one. 8. I am still looking for help building the set and finding costumes. I will be here every day after school and every Saturday until the show opens (or until it’s all done) to work on the set and/or costumes. If you can come and help, I would love to have you!!!! 9. You’re awesome! I can’t wait to show you what they’ve been working on. Sincerely, Ms. Jennings The cast list will be posted Monday afternoon. Please check the website on Monday after 4 p.m. for the cast list.
Many, many thanks to all those who auditioned!!!! You all were wonderful. Ms. Jennings, Mrs. Hanks, Mrs. Grace |
